New Year 2014

Today was pretty much a normal day, but on the other side: not at all! My plan for today was go to the post office, to the supermarket, get home again because we would have guests and then go out with my friends. A pretty nice way to celebrate New Year's Eve. Family and friends, what a good balance. Actually it's the first time ever I celebrate New Year with my friends!

I had to buy drinks at the supermarket, but I'm not really used to buy drinks with alcohol, so I didn't know what to buy.. My solution: choosing all the interesting and colourful ones. Blue, red, green and so on. The red one was with watermelon flavour, what a must-try.

After eating dinner with my family and the guests, I went to a friends flat. It was really funny until my head started to kill me. Yes.. I was a little drunk, but my head was still clear enough to think of my mission: to take photos of the many fireworks! We went out to set up our own fireworks, and I continued taking photos. Just.. Most part of the photos... You can't see anything.
GO PHOTO SKILLS!

Hello mailbox

One postcard or letter is good. Two at once are better...
The postcard is from my pen friend Alisa from Russia! A beautiful postcard with matryoshka dolls on since she knows about my matryoshka obsession. How sweet of her. Actually I have a matryoshka doll at home, which looks pretty much a like the ones on the card.
The envelope is from my pen friend Polya from Russia. This letter contains a postcard from Prague, a Christmas card and a letter. The Christmas card is amazing and reminds me on white Christmas. So sad we don't have any snow here in Denmark yet. Maybe sooner.. I hope so. No white Christmas, but at least a white Winter.
Thank you!

Busy busy

Wow.. It's been a while. Since I started on upper secondary school, I really got busy. I almost done have any time for my friends, which is pretty sad. Homework, homework and more homework... Just because I became that busy, it doesn't mean I stopped taking photos. No, taking photos is a part of my life and I simply love it!

My school is doing the annual musical, and since it's my first year, it's also my first musical. We're doing our version of "Aladdin" and I know it's gonna be all amazing. I went to audition as an actress and a singer, but the act didn't work as good as the singing, so I'm going to sing at the musical. The performance days are soon: 27., 28. and 29 November! Today was one of our practise-days. The show is soon, so practise? Yes, thanks.

Rave party

I've never been to a rave party before, but I just knew the party was going to be awesome. Music, dance, light, glow sticks and a lot of neon colours. Well, I don't have any glow sticks myself which is kinda sad, and neither do I have any clothes in neon colours. Ohh.. Except some sports wear, but there's no way I'm going to that party in my football shirt! Black tank top, black tights, denim shorts and shoes, who was pretty neon.

So, I showed up to the party and yes.. I came alone. Most people go with their friends, but I came alone. That doesn't mean I was some kind of lonely person during the party! I met my friends and classmates over there. It was such an awesome party, especially the glow sticks made the party better than a normal party. At a moment I actually accidentally broke a glow stick. My fingers were green.. Green fingers glowing in the dark. Yay. Breaking a glow stick doesn't mean it all turned bad. It was pretty funny though.. My two friends and I started drawing on each other. Knowing the fact that the stuff inside a glow stick is toxic... Should I say "YOLO" at this point?
And me? I ended up having, I don't know how many glow sticks. As bracelets, as necklaces, a glow stick sword? Wow.

The Hamlet Theatre Maze - BKP

We've been thinking, creating, practising and much more. Today was the big day: acting! It's the 4th time BKP are making a theatre maze. Last time the theatre maze was about Romeo and Juliet, this time Hamlet also by William Shakespeare. My character was simple. The first character you meet when you step inside the maze is me. I presented the main characters: Hamlet, Ofelia, Laertes, Claudius, the queen and the king. Easy, interesting and funny! Don't really remember how many times we did our act, but I've been told it was about 18 times? 18 times! Can't even remember it was so many times. Can you imagine me saying the same lines again and again, until I hit 18? Duhhh.. But I clearly remember how tired I was at last. We all were. When we finally were done, we had this great "pizza party". We ordered 10 pizza's and yuuuuuum.. I was full.

Anyways, I really enjoyed the whole day. The way we got dressed up, the way we all were excited, the way we acted. Hope there's gonna be another theatre maze next year. BØRNEKULTURPILOT (BKP) TILL THE END.

Video maybe coming soon...

Hello mailbox

Since I started on gymnasium, I've felt pretty busy. I haven't wrote many postcards or letters myself, so how should I expect some? Well, opening my mailbox is always surprising. You'll never know what's inside. Advertisements? Letter? Postcard? Newspaper? Package? Anything?
This time I got an envelope and a postcard. The envelope is from Oksana in Belarus, and the postcard is from Margarita in Russia! Both of them are strangers. In Oksana's letter there are tickets (bus), a banknote and a postcard. Amazing! I really appreciate it,when people put something like that in their letter. The postcard Margarita send me is from St. Petersburg. It's not sure, but I'm probably travelling to St. Petersburg in April or May 2014! Hope it's gonne be a reality..
Thank you!

There's no way to stop...

Having P.E. on my gymnasium isn't the same as I had in 9th grade. I feel it, I do it, I know it. In 9th grade we had 2x45 minutes P.E. a week, now it's less but harder! I think we have P.E. one time a month, BUT it's for a day. From 8:30 till 15:40 we have P.E. Today we had to play football, badminton and of course exercises.

I woke up, did my thing and then cycled to the place we were going to have P.E. This place is located 7,4 km from home. So the schedule of my day kinda looked like this:
- Cycle 7,4 km
- Do exercises and play football for 2-3 hours
- Lunch time
- Do exercises and play badminton for 2-3 hours
- Cycle back (7,4 km)
- Football training!

Yes! I actually had football training today. I'm so tired know, but I have a really good feeling about it. How can I say.... I'm proud?

Party like forever

So a guy from my class was going to hold this party, and it was going to be HUGE. I was pretty excited about this day, cause I haven't been partying with my new class yet. Before going to party I had one thing to do... Work! I wanted to be done with work as fast as possible, but I knew I was late. I had to work 30 minutes over time. Beep that. After work I cycled home and changed clothes. To be honest I really liked my outfit and my make up, so I took some weird selfies. Way too mainstream, huh?

Arriving to the party, finding my friends and then having fun! Noo.. This wasn't some small party with 40 people or something like that. There must have been about 100 people? So problems finding my friends? Yes. DANCE, DANCE, DANCE & DANCE. That's actually what I remember. I went home some earlier than the others, since I had to work next day. Don't wanna look like some kind of panda-zombie on work. Just not cool...

Hello mailbox

I would say it's been a while, since I got a postcard from a pen friend beside Katya from Russia. I've been missing opening the mailbox, and then find something unexpected. Well, I got a surprise today, because I found this. It's from my pen friend Alisa from Russia!
A very nice postcard of her hometown. That lollipop-look-alike building is pretty awesome! Lol, it looks funny. What in the world is it?
Thank you!

A consequence of lazy holidays

Today we were playing a match against Dragør BK. Straight out... We lost the match 13-0. Not much to say about this result. First match after the summer holidays is always hard. I haven't been playing football since I travelled to China! Consequence: I run slower and... I'M JUST BAD! I get tired easily. What have I eat since I'm in so bad a condition???

Intro-trip in Kongensøre (Day 1) - Team work!

OMG! I was so excited! I've been waiting for this trip in a long time. Well, most because I get to know my new classmates better, but also because the trip itself! We had to live 3 days and 2 nights in the nature. We had to live in Indian tippy tents, and I've never tried that in my entire life before. 4 classes/study lines from my gymnasium were going to the camp in Kongensøre: The health class, the biotechnology class and the two science classes. From Copenhagen we drove in different busses to reach our destination, but when we arrived we still had to walk a long way and then through a forest. So, now we're here!

Later my class got divided into three groups. Actually every class got divided into three groups. Then we got some tasks. Not writing tasks, but tasks where we actually have to move around! But yeah.. Move around in the forest. We got points after every task, and at last they would count our points. If we didn't get many points, we would get less food! My team got good points and we really learned to work together.

After dinner we all went back to the camp, talked and just had fun. This trip is gonna be great!

Hello mailbox

Another postcard from my penfriend Katya from Russia! This time she sent me a postcard of St. Petersburg. What's up with you, Katya? Did some kind of "postcard-flip" hit to you? First a postcard from Barcelona, then Moscow and now St. Petersburg? All received here lately! Well, no matter if she suddenly has a "postcard-flip" or not, then I appreciate the postcards. I love when there's a letter or postcard in my mailbox. Long live snail mail!
Thank you!

First day on gymnasium!

ARGHHHHH... SERIOUSLY! Today was a big day! First school day on Gymnasium (upper secondary school/high school). New school, new classmates, new subjects, new environment and a new day. One of my friends was going to study in same school, so we planned cycling over there together. When we arrived we started walking into the school, and we weren't alone at all. In fact about 400 new pupils were starting same day, so nope.. Not alone. I was really excited about meeting my new class, and they all seem kind and sweet, so all I can say now is that I like my class. Who knows if I'm gonna unlike some of them later hahah... It's pretty normal. First meeting: everybody is kind, smiley and try to make new friends. Later: people are showing there personality, and some persons may unlike someone else's personality. My first day went good and that's pretty much it.

Tomorrow is my first work day after the summer holidays. Funny, I've missed to work, but I seriously don't know why...

Hello mailbox

3 and a half week in China and now back in Copenhagen. During the whole trip I've been thinking "What if there are postcards waiting for me in Denmark?" and TADAAA... 3 postcards! 3 POSTCARDS ON ONE TIME! A postcard from Spain, a postcard from Russia and a postcard from Taiwan.

The 2 awesome sightseeing postcards are from my pen friend Katya from Russia.
She has just been in Barcelona and decided to send me a postcard! Not enough with that she even sent me a postcard of Moscow! MOSCOW my favorite city.

The other postcard is from my pen friend Hsin-Tzu from Taiwan. This is a very cool postcard in my opinion! I remember Hsin-Tzu as an animal and art lover, so how genius isn't it to send me a postcard like that? Also this postcard is pretty cute.

Thank you!

Travel: China 2013 - Off to Sanya (Day 4)

WEEEE... Today we took a flight from Guangzhou to Sanya on the Hainan Island. When searching pictures on the internet, Sanya looks really beautiful, but is it? I mean nowadays pictures can be edited, so it looks better that it is. Travelling to Sanya made it all clear: IT'S BEAUTIFUL HERE! The coast is. The city is fine, just as other normal cities. Well, we live in a flat on 11th floor (if you count the lowest floor too), and this is flat is pretty nice. Not many furniture's here, but we have two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom and two balconies. I like that. Notice that we have a kitchen, so we can make our own food, not like in hotels. Living on 11th floor means that we have a great view over the city. We also checked the beach out. Beautiful! We checked the beach out at noon, which means many people and too sunny, which means we didn't go swimming. What really surprised me, when arriving was: SO MUCH RUSSIAN! I mean the Russian languages is so many places! Signs on restaurants, shops, advertisements and more. Why? Sanya seems to be a very popular holiday spot in Russia, at least east Russia. I feel so awesome, because I can read and understand a lot of the sign, and I'm not even from Russia! I'm just a Chinese in Denmark, who loves Russia. Also when seeing Russian people on the street, I'm like "OMG.. Russians speaking Russian!" inside. I can just say that I like Sanya. This is good.

Travel: China 2013 - Hello Guangzhou (Day 2)

Finally my flight arrived! Yup, it was already next day, and I was really tired. Just wanted to sleep. Sleep in a bed! It's pretty hard for me to sleep on a chair or something. I have to lie down. So, we got in the aeroplane and found our seats. Seemed like my mum, brother and I had different seats! Near each other, but not right next to each other... My seatmates? Two Arab guys about 20-30 years old and they were friends. Well, ok then, I'm surviving. They asked me were I came from, and I was like "Umm.. That's a pretty normal question between foreigners", and so I answered their question. A PAUSE. Then they asked how old I was! Why do they want to know that? What do they want? Fish!.. I do look older than my age, and I think it's because I'm different and look more mature, but pleeeeeease.. Make them stop asking about question like that. "15 years" I answered, and from there they didn't really talk to me anymore. YES!

I normally don't sleep more than a half hour during the whole flight-trip to China, but yeah.. I was just sooo tired. Zzzz.. I woke up again and realized I had forgot to close the window, but this was amazing! Just imagine: you're sleeping with your head against the window. You're eyes slowly starts to open, cause you're awake, and the first you see is a beautiful sunrise! I'm just awesome. Woke up at the right time.

In Guangzhou we took the bus to my grandma's flat. Driving in the bus, while just looking out of the window was really nice. Reminds me about how much I've been missing this city and my grandma.

Oh.. And today is Steph's birthday. Happy birthday my girl!

Travel: China 2013 - Goodbye Denmark (Day 1)

Well, today is the day. I'm off. Off to China. I'm so excited, since it's been one and a half year ago I was there last time. To be more exactly I'm going to my hometown Guangzhou, which is located in the Southern China near Hong Kong. During the travel I'll be in Guangzhou (of course), but we also have plans travelling to Sanya (a city on Hainan Island, should be like paradise) and Macau (city near Hong Kong), and who knows? Maybe we'll travel to more places?

The flight take off at evening time, and we're on our way to Doha. Yes, Doha in Qatar. From Doha we'll take another flight to Guangzhou. I like flying in a aeroplane. It may be a bit boring, but seriously.. You have games, films, music, food, toilets, so isn't it everything a (nowadays) human needs? I have a confess: I like the food on the aeroplanes... Hehe.

We're landing in Doha International Airport. I go out from the aeroplane with the rest of the people, and right when I get out BAM! Freak it's hot! It's night, but it's 38 degrees! NOTICE IT WAS NIGHT! Daytime? 42. Glad that it ain't that hot in Denmark, or else? I was melted away a loooong time ago. Ok, were in Doha airport. Everything seems fine, no. We have to wait I don't know how many hours for the flight to Guangzhou! Basically I'm just dying in the airport. Luckily, they have free wi-fi there. Me likey.

BonBon-land 2

Wuhuuuuuuuu... Ok, to make it clear: It's not an usual thing, that I visit BonBon-land, but my dad had promised me the trip, and Steph, Rada and I had planned it since months ago. Going to an amusement park is different when you go with family, and when you go with friends. That's pretty obvious.

What can I say? This day went freakin' awesome! And we tried one called "Svend Svingarm". This one is SO CRAZY! I'm serious! We actually tried it 2 times. First time I had my eyes closed during almost the whole trip, but second time my eyes where wide open! Gosh... I was scared. Oh, and I didn't even scream at any time, when we tried "Svend Svingarm" for our second time.

During most of the day Rada, Steph and I decided to speak English. We do that sometimes for fun. Well, I wanted to buy this picture of us sitting on a roller coaster, and Steph and Rada dared me to speak English! So I did... The staff even asked me, where I came from. I was panicking inside of my head: should I just be an idiot and admit that I'm from Denmark or what? So I answered... GREAT BRITAIN. WTF?! Steph and Rada thought I would say Russia hahah.

BonBon-land 1

Today was all about the amusement park BonBon-land. I went their with my family, and oh... It was such a long time ago, I've been there last time, so it was amazing to be there! Enjoyed the whole day except the awkward and very annoying position I sat in the car... Tried to sleep in the car, but it didn't work.

I AM PROUD OF MYSELF! So, there's this roller coaster called "vildsvinet", and I've always been afraid to try it, but today I did! Mission complete! Lol, people should've seen my. I was cursing in my head, even though the roller coaster hadn't started, and when it finally started I was screaming like some monkey, who hasn't got bananas for years (in films). After today I'm not afraid anymore! Actually I'm going to BonBon-land again on Tuesday with Steph and Rada. At that time I'm surely gonna try "vildsvinet". I've done it once, so why not twice? Just excited.

Tuesday, 2 July 2013

1.. 2.. 3.. PANIC!

Basically, I never got to buy my stuff Sunday, since most shops closed at 16:00, so today I wanted to buy them! Steph and I cycled to the shopping street "strøget", and everything went good! Firstly, I'm very happy that I got to buy an ink set.. Well, it's actually not a set, it's just a glass of ink, an ink pen and then an ink pad. I've only tried to write with ink once, so I'm pretty excited to use my new ink set. I also bought 2 pair of shorts, but that's not interesting...

Ok, so my work day went good as well, just until the end... My colleague and I were locked in. Locked inside of the supermarket! FREAK! Gosh, people should have seen us. We knew most of our colleagues was done and so were we, but we just had to clean some mirrors, and then we could go home. What went wrong? Well, on our way most of the light were suddenly turned off, and just when we started to walk, an alarm turned ON! We ran out to the staff input, but the door was locked, and we couldn't get out at all! My colleague was totally freaked out, while I thought "The worst thing that can happen, is that we're going to stay at our work till tomorrow, but that's surely not gonna happen, because the alarm is on, so at sometime the police or some of the staff will come to see, why the alarm is on". This thought might have been the reason, why I wasn't all panicking like my colleague. Today was a extraordinary work day...

You know, what they say:
Keep calm and ...
