Almost shopping + sleepover

Whoop! Today was the shopping daaaaaaaay.. Steph, Rada and I cycled to the shopping street "strøget", and then it all started! We bought some magazines in a mall, we continued to H&M, where we all bought some things. Then we went into Urban Outfitters, Accesorize, Moonsoon and... Most of the shops were closed! WTF! Oh, we didn't know that most shops were closing at 16:00 on Sundays. Yay... And freak everything. What I bought on our shopping: a Seventeen magazine, a pair of trousers, a belt and an ice cream. That's not enough? That's not even called shopping! That's more like buying a few random stuffs...

We went to Steph's place ate adobo (a Filipino dish), watched a part of Spring Breakers and then Pitch Perfect, ate pancake + ice cream and then we went on Omegle! There are many weirdos on Omegle.. We had fun though.

"Hallo, it's Annette..."

Had a meeting with a few persons from BKP. We're going to start a new project, and this time for the older children, we may call them "teens". This project is going to be fun! I'm so ready for it. Ready for all the new experiences I'll get, and of course I'll write about them here. Hope, I have time! Since I'm going to the "gymnasium" after summer, then we have more lessons and blah blah.. Tough life, you know. Oh, I almost forgot to write this: At the meeting there was chocolate and WATERMELON. That's a real meeting, thank you!

Had work today. Mmm... I walk around with a phone, so I can communicate with my colleagues in the supermarket, and I can simply tell, that I suck at using that phone. I don't look professional at all. What an idiot... It's actually only the second time, I carry the phone on me. Trust me, first time I really looked like some weirdo, like I've never talked in a phone before!
*riiiing riiing*
Me: "Ha haaaallo?.."
I'm gonna be good at this someday. Just someday...

Ice cream freeze!

I ended with a very good average mark, so why not celebrate it? Mmm.. And how do you make a good celebration in Annette's world? With ice cream babyyyyh! Believe it or not, but they actually wrote my name wrong on my diploma! So yes, they HAVE TO correct it. Stupid people.... Thh.

I cycled to the nearby supermarket to buy 2 package of ice cream, but hey.. Why not buy something to the ice cream? Like sprinkles or chocolate? SPRINKLES! Then I cyckled over to Rada's place to hang out with her and Steph. We're planning a shopping trip + sleepover. I hope the shops are open that day, and that the weather is good. Who the hell wanna outdoor shop, while it's freakin' raining? Shopping bags in one hand, an umbrella in the other...

Home again. People normally eat dessert after dinner, and so did we. 2 package of ice cream, sprinkles... Uhh, why not make something more out of it? And so I did. 2 package of ice cream + sprinkles + apple pieces + honeydew melon pieces = A M A Z I N G !

There's always something to celebrate. Bring me the ice cream!

The graduation ceremony

O.M.G.! I've waited for this day in 10 years now. Since I started in school, I've always thought about finishing school, and how it would be. That's it, and here I am. Standing in the middle of a bunch of other 9th graders from my school, who've thought exactly the same thought as me. How could it be?

Isn't it funny, how I'm just standing here and watching the time passing by? I've spend 5 hours and 25 minutes each day of a year with the same persons in the same classroom, except for holidays and weekends, and suddenly it all stops. Just like that. The principal's calling my name, and I walk over to him. Beside the principal my class teacher's standing. "Congratulation" is the word, and "thank you" I answer. The principal gives me my diploma, and my class teacher gives me a rose. The smile in my face, you should've seen it. I walk back, sit down and can't stop smiling. Ok, so now I probably should look at my diploma, look at my marks for both the final written exams and final oral exams. All in one piece of paper. To be honest I had some expectations, and most of the marks lived up to my expectation, while one mark didn't. It's all fine, cause I got some surprises too. This is great. My life is great, even though it has up and downs, but that's exactly what makes my life that great.

It's official now: I'M DONE WITH 9TH GRADE! I'M READY FOR "GYMNASIUM"! But most of all I'm ready for my summer holidays. Here I come.

Lonely day...

Thought I was going to hang out with friends today. No. Thought we would have some REAL training today. No. I just thought...
Woke up pretty late so no breakfast for me. Just made myself some blini's (Russian pancakes). Made about 8 pancakes and I couldn't eat them all, so I thought "I'm going to hang out with friends later, so why not give some to them?". Aha, then I find out we won't hang out anyway. No pancakes for them then! Wearing my football clothes, I went into H&M to check out some clothes. I must have looked like a real-dumbass-foreveralone idiot.. Go humanity!

At training we trained. Not really, we just did some shooting and that's pretty much it. One of my teammates had brought some fruit salad with her. It was her dinner... Well, I had pancakes, she had fruit salad? We kinda did a meal! Pancakes with fruit! Sounds delicious, huh? And so it was.

Tomorrow I'll get all my result/marks for both the written and oral exams! In fact I already know my marks for the oral exams, but not the written. Doing a evening on my school with all three 9th grader classes. It's gonna be fun!

Hello mailbox

Well, I was actually on my way to training, but I'm waiting for a letter from my future upper secondary school "gymnasium" in Danish, so I HAD to look. No letter from my gymnasium, but there was a letter from my pen friend Nastya from Ukraine! The letter from the gymnasium can wait. Curious as I am, I really wanted to open it, and take it with my to training, but is it a good idea? I'm going to play football outdoors, and then I bring a letter with me? I don't think so. I can say, that I wanted to get home as fast as possible heheh..
Weird as it is, she sent me sugar! So, am I gonna use it or should I let it be in the letter? FTW.
Thank you!

The final oral exams - Day 4 (Physics & Chemistry)

My fellow group member/classmate Lareb and I decided to meet a half hour before the exam begun. We had this idea, that we could read some notes and prepare as much as possible: We ended up talking in those 30 minutes we had. Thh... Girls talk too much. I was pretty excited about this exam, I mean we spend a lot of time yesterday to prepare, so what could go wrong? Ehmm.. Later I found out many things can go wrong.

1. The topic we wanted less was "the periodic table", so guess which topic we picked? I mean seriously, just freak that! As I note I can tell, that you don't know which topic you pick. You just pick a paper, turn it around and there's your topic.

2. CaCO3, Na2SO4 and a few more. I forgot, where to find them! I walked around the room again, again and again. Fiiiiiish. This was a terrible moment for me.

Good thing is that I did find them.

3. The 2 teachers asked about stupid questions! Not that the questions were idiotic or easy. They were weird and difficult! In my opinion it just went bad. So glad, that you aren't alone to this exam. I would've been dead.

While the teachers were talking about me and Lareb's exam and talk about the mark, I was so so annoyed. Annoyed and disappointed over myself. Getting a mark who says "excellent"? Uhh.. That's wasn't a reality. No doubt, I would get 4 "fair", in my world "not good". If the teachers were really mean to me, they would even give me lower.. The teachers asked us to go into the room again. They talked about, how they thought our exam went, what we  could've done better and 10. FREAKIN' 10 AS "VERY GOOD" AKA THE SECOND HIGHEST MARK! Omg... How could I get this? A miracle must have happened just in front of me. Wow.

Surprise.

"What if it's useless?...."

Sunday. Today is Sunday, and tomorrow is Monday. Monday is the day I have my freakin' physics & chemistry exam! My classmate Lareb came over to my place. The plan was to study together and write notes, since we're in same group for the exam tomorrow. 5-6 hours! That's what we used of time to write notes, and yeah... My stomach was hungry, but I didn't even get to eat dinner until she went home. Oh gosh... There were so many notes! I even joked with "And then it ends up with, that we can't use these notes for anything". Well, I have expectations for tomorrow! 5-6 hours of studying at home must give a good result.... Or what? Damn you exam!

My first Saturday

Today was my first Saturday on work. What's so special about Saturday? Yeah, so every Saturday we get new products, and then we have to put them on the shelves. It's pretty hard, when you have to get all kind of shoes from the basement to the shop, and still help customers and make everything look pretty. This was pretty interesting though. New things are always interesting... Funny, cause I still find "going on work" exciting. Many teens says "Ohhh... I'm going on work today. I don't wanna". Me? "I'm going on work today *big smile*". I'm so abnormal. Sorry, I mean limited edition.. FTW?

Physics and chemistry exam on Monday! In Denmark we have it as one subject, except on the upper secondary school and the university, then they're two different. I don't expect anything for Monday. Just hoping for a good mark.

The final oral exams - Day 3 (English)

2 oral exams done. 2 oral exams left. I don't know, if I was confident or not, I mean... I'm not bad at English and I know my topic very well, but I haven't really practised my oral text. My mind was like "Oh snap.. Lol, doesn't matter. You'll figure something out during the exam". Yeah... I actually believed my mind. What a fool I am. My plan was to meet up hours before it was my turn, and then just read and read. Heh, it didn't go like that. I ended up talking with all the others, who were going to their exam today. I didn't even read one sentence... So, now it was my turn. I went into the room and started to do my presentation: IT WENT GREAT! I had about "youth and identity" and I had chosen "snail mail" as my topic, which is pretty easy for me to talk about. I had even brought some of my own snail mail letters and parcels from my pen friends with me! The teachers were very impressed. I guess that was my secret weapon. Not every person in the world snail mail, only some. Then I had to take a question and talk about it. I took "the civil rights (USA)". I wanted "Australia", but ok, I didn't get what I wanted to. My mark for the exam? 12! AKA "excellent"!
Later I even found out, that both Rada and Steph also got 12 for their English oral exam! How clever we are bahaaa...

How to pronounce

Freakin' oral English exam tomorrow! Yeah, so I spend my day on reading English and prepare my English presentation about "Snail mail". While practising my presentation, it kinda went bad. How the freak did I pronounce like? It was like I had suddenly forgotten, how to speak English. FAIL! Hopefully, I remember how to speak English tomorrow. Today doesn't matter, but if I tomorrow talk with the weirdest accent, then I can forget about getting the best mark.

"Throooooooough, thoooooooough, thooooooought".

- I can only say "good luck" to myself. Cause' I need it.

Daily posts?

Firstly I have to confess, that I can't keep writing my daily posts. I'm not gonna lie to myself: How should I could keep posting daily, when I start on gymnasium (upper secondary school)? I have to do a lot of homework, so basically I don't know, if I'll get time for writing everyday. But there's no doubt: I'M STILL GONNA KEEP ON WRITING! Just not daily... I'll try to do my best at writing daily, but I can't promise anything. Baheee... I see life's being more difficult. Oh, and I forgot to write about me and the "turbo team"'s trip to South East Denmark in May 20, 21 and 22. Gotta find time to write about this trip!

The final oral English exam is on Friday, and I'm very excited and a bit worried. I haven't even begun reading yet. The voice in my head says "Wait till tomorrow! You still have one day to read up!". Unfortunately, I think the voice in my head got the control today. Well, then I'm gonna study tomorrow.

Hello mailbox

Before going to the beach, I just had to check my mailbox. Just curious as always. Blah blah... Advertisements. I was about to close it again, but I was sure I saw something, which looked like an envelope. Aha! Gotcha baby! This letter is from my pen friend Anya from Belarus!
I've always wondered, if someone would eat the sweets, I send to my pen friend and they send to me. Maybe some hungry postman, or some hungry post office worker? Well, this time they weren't hungry, so I can eat it by myself, and be fat.
Thank you!

Unlucky me...

Weeee.. So today BKP were going to the beach! Sounded amazing! Then I could take some sun and maybe swim? No no, water still too cold. I wore a nice summer outfit, packed a bag and then I WAS OFF. The weather was good, when I arrived at the beach, even though I heard some people saying, it was going to rain. I was like "Noooooo? Freakin' look at the weather!", and who was right? The people. I found the rest of BKP, and 5 minutes after my arriving we saw this huge grey cloud. A so-called rain cloud. What happens next? It freakin' started to rain, and all people, except us from BKP, leaves the beach. Well, I take this as my foul? I was looking forward to the beach trip with BKP, and then this happens. Wow... But the good things are; we had the whole beach for ourselves, we ate watermelon, I found 10 kr. (a coin) on the ground, we ate crisps and other sweets and then ice cream!

Human thoughts...

My team and I played this match against Dragør BK. The football match went... Umm, how should I describe? Last time we played against them, they won the first part of the match, but in the second part, we did an amazing comeback, and won the whole match! I think I kind had the same expectation this time, since the Dragør BK scored their first goal in the beginning of the match. Again they won the first part of the match, so I hoped we could do the same comeback. It just never happened... We lost 7-1 to the opposite team.

Not all things happens twice.

2 events 2 go!

The annual "Urban festival". Yes, it was today! I usually go there every, but last year I didn't know, what date it was, so I wasn't there. This year I HAD to go, even though I knew I only could be there for 2 hours. It was really nice! Went around with Steph and Rada, bought us a big cookie and then we just talked. Live music, food, happy people and amazing weather.

Later my family and I went to this annual private event/fest. Like the Sandbjerg event, this fest was another eating opportunity for me. Food, food, food. Dessert, dessert, dessert. Before and after eating; football, football, football. There were also other children there, so my brother and I played some football with them. Football = Exercise = Can eat more dessert. YES!

The final oral exams - Day 2 (Danish)

This time I wasn't late for my exam! I was already there a few hours before, it was even my turn. Text? Check. Nervousness? Check. Myself? Check. While my class were having oral Danish, the other 9th grade was having oral civics. Happy, I'm not in their class! I was pretty confident about my presentation. Confident enough to look at the other pupils being nervous and freaked out, but 3 minutes before it was my turn, my stomach wanted to kill me. Thank you stomach. Thank you... The exam actually went great! When I was doing my presentation I wasn't nervous at all. Felt very confident, and my confidence must have been one of the reasons, I got a good mark. 12! Another "excellent"!

Beside having my Danish exam today, I also had my first work day. I can say, that when I finally came home, I was freakin' tired! My legs were arghh... At work I had to walk and walk, then help the customers and walk some more. Even though it was really tiring, I'm still excited for my next day at work. It really funny, and I like to help the customers (if I can answer their question)...

Well, everything takes its time. Like the snail below..

Study, friends & nature..

History: Done! Danish, English and Physics & Chemistry left. Decided to study with Steph and Rada, even though they never got to study that much; 2 minutes? I tried to study some more, but I got distracted by the amazing weather! Uhh.. You see, the summer weather is coming to Denmark. Sun, warm, no rain, pretty clouds and people in summer clothes. Thank you dear weather! As long as it wouldn't rain much, then I'm happy.

Since I didn't study much in the park we were in, I had to study at home. Went better. Found my oral text, prepared some reading and I kinda feel ready I think? Lets just be honest; I'm gonna die.

The final oral exams - Day 1 (History)

First mistake of the day: being to late for my exam! How the hell did that happen? Oh freak. I'm just hating myself for that. What's good is that a classmate switched time with me, so he took my time and I took his. Also a good thing, that the teachers were kind to me. I say THANK YOU! Ok, so it was finally my turn. I chose a card with a number, and it turned out, that I got "The end of 2nd World War". Mmm... It's ok. Then I had 40 minutes to prepare, and answer the three question on the paper. It's not only about answering three questions; you have to do a presentation out of it! Wrote some notes down, answered the questions and... "Annette, it's your turn now". Gosh! I started out being very very nervous. When you're nervous, you talk like shit, and so did I. I accidentally said, that the 2nd World War ended 1949, while the answer is 1945. Amazingly, the first 3 minutes doesn't count. The teachers know how nervous pupils are. Oh... And I was an idiot at talking! I'm sure, I made up some words, who doesn't exist. Sometimes I couldn't even pronounce words. It was like "Oghrr..." and "Grhhh...". Nice, huh? Now, my exam may look bad, because what I've just wrote, but it wasn't that bad. Yes, I had some mistakes, but most of the time, it actually went good! I talked and talked, answered all the question the teachers asked about, and I even made them laugh. My mark? 12! 12 is the highest mark, and means "Excellent!". Now I'm waiting for the rest of my oral exams - Danish, English and Physics & Chemistry. Please good marks?..

Home again. I was? Hungry! Instant noodles? Too boring. A sandwich? More boring. I deserved better. I just got 12. Blini (Russian pancakes)? Amazing! I even decided to make a pancake cake. I'm getting better at cooking blini's. Actually, I never got to eat my pancake cake. Why? I had to go to BKP and the training... Damn it!

Welcome to paper world!

That's it. Today I was studying, studying and studying... The final history exam is tomorrow, so I gotta be prepared. Continue reading the pile of paper. So, I haven't really been out, except when I had to wait in a queue in more than a half hour. The number on the screen was showing 515, and my number was 516, but it freakin' took more than a half hour! Oh gosh, I was about to die. Since Saturday I've just wanted to go back to Friday. The last school day. The day where we were throwing caramels. The day on the restaurant. The day on the beach. So many great things happened that day. Can I go back? Or at least see a film about my life?

Tomorrow I have the oral history exam and on Friday it's the oral Danish. Don't know, which one I want most... I just wanna travel. Maybe to space or something. And of course I want ice cream. I always want ice cream.

Hello mailbox

Hehe... Just going for a walk, but then I wanted to check the mailbox. Didn't expect something, but here I go! I got a postcard from another stranger called Eileen from Taiwan. Mmm... In fact I've been in Taiwan before. Amazing country. Yeah, so the postcard looks more like a picture, but it is a postcard. A very beautiful one. I love postcards with city views, tourist attractions, monuments and etc. Anything which shows the city/town/village the person lives in. Oh, I actually haven't been in the post office for a while! Bahaa... What's next?
Thank you!

Sunday school

Our history teacher and my class had made this deal: lessons on a Sunday. It went good. I love, when a teacher teach, but have fun at same time: my history teacher had bought breakfast to the class! Bread, chocolate, butter and juice. Now, it's serious. On Monday and Tuesday my class have our final oral history exams, and I have mine on Tuesday. From now I'm gonna study history and only history. Going to be a history nerd now. Copenhagen bombardment, 1st WW, 2nd WW, The cold war, Fascism, Denmark occupied and blah blah. So many papers to read... Mood: tired of reading papers.

So, I kinda spend the whole day on reading exam stuff. Someday, you'll see me in a history documentary on BBC. This girl is clever now. Lol.

Hello mailbox

After a really tiring day skateboarding on the beach, I finally came home. Opened the mailbox and tadaa... 2 postcards!
One from someone my family know, who've just been in Italy, and then another postcard from a stranger called Mark from United Kingdom. I mean seriously? 2 postcards at one time? AMAZING! Lol, in the future there are 5 postcards every time I open the mailbox. I snail mail now? I snail mail much more in the future...
Thank you

Anything for ice cream..

Yesterday? Beach. Today? More beach.I love the fact, that I live near the beach. So I was skateboarding to the beach, while my brother was on his scooter. Baaah.. A warm day with 23 degrees and sun all the way. First day of summer. Yes, I feel it! On our way to the beach, some person in a car started to honk, and I'm like "WTF? Do I know you?". Such a typical thought I have. Every time I hear someone honk, I think somebody knows me. But no... I'm not that popular. This time the person actually honked at me! And of course my brain automatically said "Yeah, I know: I'm cool. A girl who's skating, while wearing a dress". I'm just weird. Can't change anything about that.

I skated the whole beach, and trust me: my legs were all tired, and I was sweaty... Wearing Converse in summertime isn't a good idea at all, but who skate with flip flops? I don't wanna injure my feet. Then my brother said, that we should go to "Denmark's best ice cream shop", and I answered "If it isn't as good as you say, then you owe me a new ice cream". While waiting for our turn in the queue, I saw some tastings: looked like some kind of biscuits, so I ate one. Nope, not a biscuit, more like dried meat, but whatever... Maybe they sell meat and hotdogs too in this shop. Guess what? I freakin' found out it was DOG FOOD! When I found out, I hoped that nobody saw me, putting that piece in my mouth. Oh freak! I can officially say, that this time is the first time, I eat dog food. Long live Annette. Yay... Of the good things, that happened today, was the ice cream. My brother is right: this ice cream is great! So many delicious flavours they have! Mmmm... Forget all about the dog food. Ice cream makes me happy.
